Zone visiting rules

The Chornobyl exclusion zone is a closed area with restricted access. To make your trip safe, you should follow all the rules.

Visiting the Zone is available only for adults.

According to the rules of the visit to the Exclusion zone you shouldn’t:

• move around the Zone without a guide, who is responsible for your safety; 
• leave your group and established routes;
• bring any weapon, drink alcohol, or take drugs during the tour. A person under alcohol or drug intoxication is not allowed to go through the checkpoint;
• eat, drink or smoke in the open air;
• gather and eat any mushrooms, berries, fruit, and nuts;
• sit or put your personal belongings on the ground;
• enter the buildings on the route;
• leave any traces of your visit (no garbage, no damage, no writings, please). Vandals are expelled immediately and black-listed afterward;
• take any objects out of the territory otherwise, it’s a criminal offense (Article 267-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

If you have any medical contradictions to the level of ionizing irradiation which is higher than usual please, consult your doctor before visiting Zone.

Using a drone is possible only with special permission. If you want to order such permission, contact our manager.
