Chornobyl Food
A standard scheduled Chornobyl tour lasts about 12 hours. A day of active, emotional, and unique adventures. That means you will probably be really hungry! Therefore we highly recommend you to visit the local canteen by the Chornobyl nuclear power plant and enjoy a real “atomic” lunch – a meal, cooked for the employees of the power plant, following the standards of healthy and nourishing food for the plant workers from the times before the accident. Just take a tray, stand in line and imagine yourself to be one of the specialists of ChNPP, and maybe even talk to some of them during your lunch! The food is absolutely safe because all products are brought outside of the Zone. The territory of the canteen is also safe, the radiation background is sometimes even lower than in New York, London or Paris.

We offer:
For one-day tours:
- lunch at the canteen in the middle of the day.
For multi-day tours:
- dinner at the Chornobyl town hotel’s cafe on the 1st day,
- breakfasts and dinners (at the same place) during the other days of the tour,
- and finally a breakfast in Chornobyl town hotel’s cafe + lunch at the ChNPP canteen on the last day.
You can order the meals by checking the box "Food" in the application form. The cost for each meal – will be included in the total tour cost. The vegetarian meal is available for booking via the application form as well.
