“I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”
- Great an opportunity to meet former residents of the town of Prypiat, and the Chornobyl nuclear plant employees.
- Enjoy the comfort of the private tour – the entire guide’s attention focused on your private group only.
- Legends tend to travel around in circles, until they turn into myths. But in this tour we can hear stories from the primary source.
We highly recommend this tour for those, who want to get a better understanding of the accident and its consequences. You will have a unique opportunity to meet the witnesses of the accident, former residents of the town of Prypiat, NPP employees and the liquidators, who will open the door to information that for a long time has been available only to a very tiny number of people.
This unique town was built by architects and builders from eight Soviet republics, creating various national quarters. As a result, the town is now divided into thirteen quarters: Baku, Belgorod, Vilnius, Dobrinin, Yerevan, Kyiv, Nevsky (ex-Leningrad quarter), Moscow, Pechersk, Riga, Tallinn, Tbilisi and Chernihiv. That is why each area has its particular architecture and own atmosphere! We will be happy to show you the beauty and meaningfulness of this hidden pearl of Ukraine.
*Please, keep in mind that this tour is available only for the groups that consist of 5 or more people.

The Museum of Chornobyl NPP and the town of Slavutych history is an inextinguishable hearth for the preservation of history and culture. The museum's expositions present monuments of material and spiritual culture of the Polissya region, the history and present of Slavutych and the history of the Chornobyl NPP, materials on the history of the construction of Prypiat town, Chornobyl accident and liquidation and its consequences in the 30-kilometer zone, the building of the“Shelter” object, the participation of the world community in the construction of New safe confinement. There are 1145 units of original exhibits in the museum funds. In the lobby of the museum, various art exhibitions are often held.
- Town tour: we will see how different a small town can be – truly unusual architectural decisions have been made there!
The town resembles a large recreation center, which is hidden in the dense Polissya coniferous forest. There is no public transport at all, instead, there are bicycle tracks and a cozy park. Only 200 kilometers north of Kyiv you will find comfort and opportunities: Slavutych is the last ideal planned town of Europe and the Soviet Union at the same time.
The town was built by 9,000 builders from 8 republics of the Soviet Union, so each of the 13 town quarters is full of features of the countries-developers. An interesting place – a gift to Slavutych from the builders of Armenia, you will see the national color and authentic architecture of Yerevan. In the Tallinn quarter, you will find "one-story America" in a cottage building, in the Baku quarter - a unique mosaic of fireclay. Interested? You don't have to spend a lot of money to see the architecture of 8 countries in one place. Just come to Slavutych!
